Our soft, durable silicone bibs are designed with a meaningful pātaka kai print, grounding whānau in traditional tikanga and the Māori values around kai.

Pātaka kai:

Meaning 'food storage', these were traditionally built on stilts in order to preserve kai and protect it from any damage that animals might cause. It is a traditional Māori way of looking after kai. The term 'pātaka kai' is commonly used nowadays for a community pantry.
